The Benton’s popular First Thursday open house is online this semester with weekly activities, crafts, workshops & more! All events are free.

                        Recreate a work of art from the Benton’s collection.
                      • September 17:
                        Coloring Pages
                        Relax with a set of free coloring pages from The Benton.
                        Coloring pages are still available to download.
                      • October 8:
                        Creative Pumpkin Decorating
                        UConn Students Only.  Registration Required.  This event is limited to 25 participants.
                        Pick up your pumpkin and supplies from the museum and create your fall decoration for your dorm room or apartment.
                      • October 22:
                        DIY Fall Leaf Candle Holder
                        UConn Students Only.  Registration Required. This event is limited to 25 participants.
                        Pick up your jar and supplies at the museum to create a beautiful fall candle holder that can be used inside or outside.

                        Healing with Poetic Release & UCCOx, 6:00 – 7:30
                        The power of poetry can help heal a community. The Benton Museum is partnering with UConn’s Poetic Release and UCCOx student clubs for a poetry and spoken word open mic night.  Speak your words or listen in.  Offered via Zoom Meetings. Registration required.
