David Bakalar is known for sculptures commemorating the Holocaust. This is a fitting sculpture for the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center which was built to house Dodd’s papers of the Nuremberg Trials after WWII. President Clinton was the main speaker at four days of events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Nuremberg war crimes trials and dedication of the Thomas J. Dodd Archives and Research Center in 1995.
