Commissioned by the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Office of the Arts.

Hunt is a foremost African American artist of abstract and public sculpture. His sculptures generally reference plant, human and animal forms.
The artist states that “the work is intended to provide in its setting, a dynamic, energetic, uplifting sculptural presence. The elements of the sculpture combine to accomplish this function. This square, then upward pyramidal base elements set off a triangle of wave and wing forms, which set up a dramatic dialogue with the surrounding space.”
