Field Trip Program (for groups of 10 or more)
The two-hour field trip program includes:
45-minute guided tour of exhibitions of your choice. All tours feature student-centered discussion to encourage meaningful conversations about art and promote critical thinking, visual literacy, and communication skills.
- 45-minute gallery writing activity, which may be customized to meet your learning goals, or select from popular options: Exploring the Senses in Art and Super Sleuth: Find That Painting!
OR
- 45-minute gallery sketching opportunity: students will select one work of art for detailed looking, analyzing, and sketching.
30-minutes for lunch onsite and/or to view the outdoor sculpture walk
Field Trip Pricing
$5 per student for the two-hour experience. One adult chaperone is admitted for free with every ten students; additional adults are $5 each. To ensure this special group pricing, one payment must be made on behalf of the entire group. The field trip balance is payable in full the day of the visit.
Group Arrival
Buses may drop off passengers in the parking area adjacent to the Museum entrance and then proceed to an approved parking location (map will be provided).
