The Benton offers a variety of family-friendly, self-guided activities and hands-on art classes throughout the year. Join us for activities and programs like scavenger hunts and sketching or enroll in our popular hands-on workshops. We look forward to seeing you and your family in the galleries!

Cloud CraftGet Your Head in the Clouds!: A Fun Afternoon Learning about Clouds

Sunday, October 19th

1:30pm-2:30pm

$10 per child/$8 per member child (advance registration required)

Designed for ages 4-10 (parents encouraged to stay)  

An interactive children’s program starting with a story and ending with a cute cloud-themed craft. Join us as we draw inspiration from our exhibition Clouds: A Collaboration with Fluid Dynamics. The program will begin with a reading of Connecticut author and illustrator, Tomie dePaola’s The Cloud Book. After the story, we will create our own cloud art using straws instead of paintbrushes!
