Elephants in Art
After exploring the many creatures in the Tradition and Transformation: Mithila Art of India exhibition, participants will use mixed media to create their own elephant collage project. This workshop, designed for children ages 6-10, includes a guided tour, all materials, and step-by-step instruction.  Registration is required and the cost is $12 per child.

Sand Art Mandalas
Participants will become art detectives as they discover artwork with unique patterns and symmetry in the galleries. Afterwards, participants will use a rainbow of colored sand to design and create their own mandala to take home. This workshop, designed for children ages 6-10, includes a guided tour, all materials, and step-by-step instruction. Registration is required and the cost is $12 per child.

Tremendous Treehouse Sculptures
Celebrate Earth Day at the Benton! After exploring the Encounters with the Collection: WOOD exhibition, participants will stretch their imaginations while designing and building their own miniature tree house sculptures.
