Roll up your sleeves and get ready for hands-on art adventures this fall and winter! Designed for
children ages 7-11, the Benton’s Saturday Afternoon Studio sessions feature guided tours of
current exhibitions and hands-on art making fun. To ensure the highest quality instruction, all
sessions are limited to twelve participants. Register early to secure your preferred dates; please

Rainbow Drip Pumpkins
Saturday, October 1, 1:30-3pm

Celebrate the spooky season ahead with rainbow drip pumpkins! Using acrylic paint, glitter, and
more, participants will draw inspiration from artwork on view and then try their hand at
designing their own colorful creation.

Autumn Shadow Boxes
Saturday, November 5, 1:30-3pm
Fall fun! Using wooden shadow boxes, acrylic paint, and a variety of natural objects, participants
will stretch their imaginations as they design their own wild woodland-themed work of art.

Gingerbread-Style Houses
Saturday, December 3, 1:30-3pm
Peppermints, gumdrops, butterscotch and more! Participants will get creative as they design and
build their own miniature graham cracker gingerbread-style house, complete with icing.
